I've finally got round to finishing the project I started on New Year's Eve.
I know it isn't perfect but I learnt a lot on the way and would be able to do it quicker and better now

It has the right shape for a hippo and the creases are in the right place. I tried to follow the natural curves of the hippo wherever possible. Our brains are capable of interpreting all sorts of things

well, i guess not all people are good at all kinds of drawing. imho it's also a matter of the interest, so in that direction your talent is developed.
