What a character. How do you figure out his feet so that he will stand up okay?

A mixture of practice, understanding the centre of balance, and the observation of real birds. Then of course there are pliars, a hammer, and sometimes a bit of patience...

I have to get the angle of the holes I make in the body right when I make the bird so that when I glue the legs in it will work.
